The Semester

Hi classmate  and teacher!

In this post I would like to talk about the semester (chan-chan!)

Well, this semester was very strange for the strike. Always that stop the class all is different, because all is more slow and lose it the rhythm is so easy. And then we have to come back and finish faster the semester. this is 

I don´t like to finish  like that, because when the things end faster, we don`t  make a good job. l like work with calm, because I can think more about my work. I don`t like the idea of finish work for one mark.  I believe that is imposible to call the art with a mark, because the art is subjective for that reason we should take with calm and make a good work. And stop the semester signify finish it faster :( and it`s so sad...
there other reason why this semester was strange and it`s because this is us penultimate semester and I can feeling scare in the air jajajaj
I like think that all finish some day, and make me feel better. I belive that each thing has its time and
everything happens. only we should do what we want :)

"A day in a life"

Is difficult choose only one day, but I try... I remember a trip that I had five years ago.  I traveled to Peru with my best friend, Camila.  And one of the best things about this trip was that we did by plane. It was incredible time, look at all from above, the earth, the clouds, it`s all so small and big in the same time, it`s beautiful. I always remember this trip because it was the first time that I flying and I was so far from home and I felt so good. What I remember most about this trip was as roads were seen from the sky , seemed veins and thought are all so close , it was great feel and that day felt more at home than ever why I remember it as one of the best days of my life.

I Like Films

Hi classmate, 

Today I would like to talk about the films that I like (and others that not much).

I love films, because they are different views of life, allowing us to have different point of view.

I like many types of films; Drama, Terror, Comedy, etc.  But me prefers is the drama and comedy. This blend is very good because after to see a drama film, I like see to comedy because help me to relax and make me feel better. I guess that is how I like to understand life and be on both sides of the sidewalk. 

Also I like to art cinema films, because this films is make with a different language, in my opinion is a special  language maybe more expressive than all other  types of films. In this type of films my favourite director is “The Master” Andrèi Tarkovski because his films are intimate and mysterious. For me, he created visual metaphorsabout inside of human it´s so interesting and also the photograpy  of his films is beautiful.

Is difficult for me to say which is my favourite film, because I like many films but I`m going to tell you about the last film I saw, because I like so much. This is an animation film and its name is “Las trillizas de Belleville”. I always that remember it recommend all my friends this film because is enteresting and funny. This film condense all emotions of its specials personage.

And respect of "the hated films", I don`t hate any film but if some ...I never see them twice, and one

of this films are "Salò" (120 dias de sodoma), this movie has a important critics about that what is capable to do a person with power. And until where can arrive? but scenes are so violent that hurt see it. this film are interesting but so aggressive.

WE SHOULD BE GREEN

How Green are you?

I´m not Green every day of my life, but I would like to be more. I think that it´s one of things most important for keep the nature. I think should teach us to be more Green since children in the school. Because now is more difficult learn to do it. But we have begin with little actions.

Do you recycle?

I don’t recycle always but I try. In home sometimes I recycle things that my mom throw out, because I Like to save trash and it`s a really problem when my room is full. I think that everything can be served in some moment for a work or something. Also I recycle materials of my workshop (paper, cardboard and anything that demonstrates). I will tell you a confession , sometimes I pick up trash people leave outside their homes . I think people throw things that are still useful for some.

I like so much the concept of recycle because I think that this follows the logic of the transformation of material, so that it continue its cycle.

What do you do to Prevent Pollution?

Not much…but I try to take care the energy of places where I go. Whether water, electricity or gas. Also, I try don’t  take out the trash on roads or waterways. I try to walk respecting the nature, but I know that she need a little help.

We can do it!

The history of chile has a “dark epoch” that without a doubt leave a mark to many generations. That overshadowed them with fear. This dark period was the military dictatorship, that even today shows its brands.  I think that we need “Union” if we unite to protest, surely we would be better. The point is that everyone fights for his problem and not a problem in common.

Education and public health are very sensitive issues for Chilean people, because they have many deficiencies, especially the inequality, which is the main point to solve in this country.

I remember when I was in high broke out the famous 'penguin revolution' in 2006. Where all students in the country were linked by a free and quality education. Since that moment I understood that young people have the strength and courage to reach  the end for their goals and dreams. That is admirable for me, and I think adults need to learn of them.

It is curious how every year more or less at the same time, marches and strikes are like echoes of the past, like prayers that were not completed and now, they return to are finished...

About Me childhood

Hello classmate and Henry!

In this post I would like to talk about two things of me childhood: my imaginary friend and my favorite toy.

This topic was controversial in the class, but I really like it because I think is so beautiful remember my childhood.

I think that children are amazing, I like see them for example; when they are playing with something and listen how they imagine stories about this things, it`s great.

Well, my mom told me when I was a child I liked play in the street with my friends but also I loved play indoors with my toys.  I remember that my favorite toy was a Léon teddy of the movie “the lion king”. Always carried it with me when we left out of home but one day lost it and my mom said me that I was sad for days.  An after time when I was seven years I had an imaginary friend and her name was “Mu”. She was an insect species embodied in a girl more or less my age and I remember that in this time I had pure friends (boys) and I had always wanted a friend that was a girl and maybe for this situation I imagined her, is fun think about it.  Have an imaginary friend is like create an being ideal necessary for live and feel us accompanied.

I sometimes think it would be good to create imaginary friends for all ages, because it`s always good to talk to ourselves. 

Sixth Post

Hello classmates and teacher!

Today I would like to talk about an artist that interests me a lot.

 I don`t have a favorite artist because I think it's difficult choose only one. Now I remember many artists that i like it, but these last weeks I have been specially thinking about an artist, Francis Bacon.

He was one of the most important contemporary painters and their works I'm interested in his imagination, his pictorial esthetic and strength.

One of his more important works is "Three Studies for Figures at the Base of a Crucifixion" of 1944, where we can see some figures full of expression and that mean something to us.

I don`t have a favorite work of this artist, because all his works is a mystery to me.  All his canvases reflect the human nature, where the characters are feeling stuffed animals. Why his work revolutionized painting, doing his job one more important twentieth century.

His works are not made with a formula but with its own language, that's what I like most.

Fifth Post

Hello class!

In this post I would like to talk about popular misconceptions about Art or studying Art

First I need to tell you about something. The last Tuesday just when I was arriving at home…I met with a neighbour and just we talked about this point.

He asked me “what are you studying?” I told him “I`m studying art”

And then he told me…” if you are going to be an artist, are you going to be on TV then?”  When he told me that, I laugh. But also remember that other people told me this another time.

In general, people don`t know much about Art, and the truth is they have no way of knowing about it, thinking that the hours of visual art are less every time at school .

But also there are other people who think that studying art is something great, and they see us as if we were geniuses or something.  And this is so strange for me, because I don`t see that way. The artist or the people that study art are normal people, only they are interested in particular life details, just like the others. I think that art is a way to see and think about life (that’s why art might be like a religion or philosophy).

The thing makes people worry the most about me is: what will I do after I finish my career? Or how I’m going to live from art? I think that art is a very big field, and it can be applied to whatever we do, so my answer to these questions is always the same, “I’m going to see what happens in the road”, and that surprises them.

About The Future (ouch! )

Hello class and teacher!

How are you? I hope you are ok ;)

Welcome to this new post. Today I would like to talk about “My future job”

Sometimes think about “The Future” scare me a little bit (But only sometimes not all times). Some days I think that the future is uncertain because the life change at every moment and for this some days I like think “the life” step by step and not go so fast because I`m slow and I like it. But others days I think different and I like to imagine all possible “Maria`s of the future” and it`s so fun. In this moment I have two big choices: the first is keep studying but in other country (France maybe) and live there for a time…or stay here and study Pedagogy (because I think it`s an important and beautiful degree and also I really like children because they are like a “seeds” and we are their “gardeners”).  It`s a difficult choice but maybe can be made all… why not?

When I think about the future it`s all so confused because I like many things and I can`t imagine doing only one thing.  

I think that study art is like a “philosophy of life” that not only can be applied in a job but in everything that we do for this I believe we can do anything without limits.

But one thing is sure and this is the place where I would like to live one day.

Imagine me working in a place surrounded of nature far of the city. I would like to work in a quiet and green place.  And fulfill my wish of farm my own food  J

"We Love Cartoons"

This is the trird post!

This time I would like to write about a theme that I like much “Cartoons”

Each time that I have a little time… I watch cartoons, I think that it`s something so fun and relaxing.  And I like see it because when I feel sad make me feel so better :) . Besides there some cartoons that make us think about really serious things of the society (Thing that is very important).  For this I can say that the cartoons are not only for kids.

I have a nephew “Santi”and he love cartoons too. He has ten years old and when he lived with us, we watched cartoons all time. His favorite channel was “cartoon network” where we watched series like a: “adventure time” “regular show” “the amazing world of gumball” among others.  My favorite channel was nickelodeon where we watched series like a: “Cat dog” “Doug” ” invasor zim” “Rocko`s modern life” “Ren and stimpy” and my favorite the Saturday night “Hey Arnold” (now I`m sad because is not in the programming of nickelodeon)
 "Hey arnold" is my favorite cartoons of all time. I like everything about this serie, since its music until the father of helga jajajj. All have sense for me: every character, theirs names and its relation with jazz music. the history tell us about a boy of 9 year old. His name is "arnold" a kid so considerate and polite (reason for helga love him). this boy live with his grandfather and his crazy grandmather, because his fathers never comeback. he study in the secondary 118 place where has many friends because he`s a very good boy that ever help his friends. (..talk about helga..)

My mom told me that When I was a child watched Cartoons and animated movies all time.

She told me that I liked invite to my friends to watch TV with me and this made me so happy. In those days I remember watch a TV program called “Bananas en pijamas”.

  When I was in primary, I remember that every day before to go to the school and after lunch I started the TV and put a Chilean program called “Solo TV” where I watched “rocket power” and “Rugrats”cartoons that I liked so much.

With my mom sometime watched Cartoon in Netflix because bored us of the TV programs.

A Good Memory... (oh yeah!)

Hello classmate

How are you?

I`m ready to write the post number two!

Well in this post I want to tell you about my music memories, a matter so entertaining!

Since young or since that I have memory, I like to rock music. I think that this pleasure for listen to rock was for my family, because they listened every time(..) this kind of music (..) 

when I went in secondary school, I was a Heavy Metal fans (it`s my dark secret jajaj) and my favorite group in those years was Metallica, I listened all time. Even I had a t-shirt of  the disk "master of puppets" that I never kick off me.

I liked this music because is so power and energetic ( Now I think is a little aggressive jajaja well but in that moment I liked jiji)

About my first concert.. I Don`t  remember all, but I believe that I went with my sister "claudia" to see the famous opera "Carmen" in the municipal theater. she won the tickets in a online competition  and she thought invite to me. It was incredible because I  didn`t knew nothing about this king of music. it`s so beauty

the first disk that bought me was "black album" of metallica (of course!) but it was not meditated only was lucky. I found it in a free show very cheap for that I bought it :)

the first post: "A country I would like to visit"

Hello classmate!

Today I'm going to talk about a country I would like to visit.

For some years I'm attracted the oriental culture, thanks to information I could learn in Internet or in some television programs.

I would like to travel to India, Because This Country is a mystery for me. India is an overpopulated country has an ancient culture. Their religion is very interesting and complex as it has many gods.

In this country I would like to learn about of its people, their culture and their religion especially learn about Buddhism and its elemental form of life.

 For this I would like to live some months there. I think the practice is better than theory, because experience is the “mother” of all learning. If I live there, I would like to learn more information, that not exist on internet or books.

And to keep me, I would like to work there. Look a job always is good, but not in the city center (Oh no!) Because has many people in the city. I prefer a quiet place, so I`m going to find a job in a rural location.
